I find myself in this place again
Disappointed with myself
I feel sure I've made too many mistakes for your love
This fear turns to chains that keep me from coming to God
God is willing to chop these shackles and forgive my sin; if I but ask forgiveness, but I am too blind to see this
But then I see a glimpse of God's love and mercy
And upon seeing this I run to the cross and ask forgiveness
With empty hands I come to you
Nothing is what I have to offer
Then I hear God say "Your sins are forgiven and remember nothing you do can affect my love for you.
And if you ever doubt that I love you reme

I am familiar with your tears,
You are sick,
Infected with hopelessness,
You have aspirations fueled by anger and pain,
But where is your faith?

I have the prescription,
I know the cure,
It is one I have taken,
Once with desperate swallows,

With pleading eyes,

Let Go Let GodMy flesh clings to this world.
Letting go is the hardest part.
Trusting God instead of doing all I have ever known.
Giving God everything I have.
So I abandon all this world has to offer and leave it at the cross.
Now I have assurance that I am no longer a part of this world.
I am free now.

  the clothes I wear,
  the food I eat,
  in-between treats,
  my money,
  my time,
  the things I learn,
  the books I read,
  my studies,
  my friends,
  my family,
  my house and home,
  my conversations,
  what I buy,
  what I give,
  all I receive -
all to Thee, my blessed Saviour,
I surrender all.

I surrender all -
  my hopes and dreams,
  the future ahead,
  my first kiss,
  any husband

WorthyCrissy was just like any other girl. She was a lover of horses, cats, dogs, and cattle. She was a cheerleader, a track star, a gymnast. She wanted to fit in; to belong to "the crowd" just like any other teenage girl.
In fact, she even gave up her belief in God just to hang out with the most popular crowd in school.
She had gained their trust. But when they asked her if she believed in God just for acceptance purposes, she said yes. They told her that they would return, since they all had to take a potty break, all at the same time.
They never returned for her.
So she knew what to do. She had to ditch her faith just so that she could be

       When I was alone and crying
       God was there
       When I was distraught and without hope
       God was there
       When they talked about me
       And made me feel worthless
       God was there
       When they called me stupid
       And said I wasn't good enough
       God was there

       God was there
       When I was alone
       And wanted to die
       God was there
       When no else was
       God was there
       When I had no one
       To call friend
       God was there
       When she died and left me
       Broken hearted
       God was there

       And He's still here
       He'll be there for you
